ANXIETY
Slide 12: Why more anxiety at menopause?
Hormones like estrogen and progesterone help our brain stay calm and serene.
➔ Estrogen boosts serotonin, our “happiness hormone.”
➔ Progesterone has a natural calming effect.
When their levels drop, emotional balance is disrupted: stress, anxiety, or worries become stronger.
